About Hosts

Prof Bassel H.Al Wattar, MD, PGD, MRCOG, PhD

Prof Wattar is an Associate Professor of Reproductive Medicine and a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and an RCOG accredited Subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine at the Beginnings Assisted Conception Unit at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals in London.

Prof Wattar has a special interest in Endocrine Gynaecology and leads a dedicate clinic in south London for women with PCOS, ovulatory disorders, menstrual irregularities, and complex menopause health needs. 

He leads several Research Groups at University College London and Anglia Ruskin University which is focused on delivering high quality research to address the health needs of women and their families

Dr Vikram Talaulikar, MD, MRCOG, PhD

Dr Talaulikar is an Associate Specialist in Reproductive Medicine at University College London Hospitals and an Hon. Associate Professor in Women’s Health at the University College London.

Dr Talaulikar has advanced clinical expertise in the field of reproductive endocrinology, PCOS, ovulation induction, recurrent miscarriage, and menopause.

He run dedicated clinics for women with premature ovarian insufficiency, Turner syndrome, and early menopause. He published widely on several topics related to Menopause health and is passionate integrating top quality evidence into clinical practice. 

Dr Brooke Vandermolen, MBBS, BSc, MRCOG

Dr. Brooke Vandermolen is an Obstetrics and Gynaecology registrar with a special interest in paediatric and adolescent gynaecology. She has completed a fellowship at University College London Hospitals and conducted research on premature ovarian insufficiency.  In addition to her clinical work, she has completed a foundation course in Digital Health Leadership at Imperial College London. She is an experienced medical writer, and creates digital content for the The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and NHS England to translate trending topics into evidence-based, relatable bite-sized media.

 

Outside of her clinical and academic achievements, Dr. Vandermolen is a prominent figure on social media, where she uses her platform to promote women’s health education. She engages a broad audience through her blog, The OBGYNMum, and social media profiles, @theobgynmum on instagram, Tiktok and Youtube. She uses her platforms to share evidence-based insights into topics from pregnancy, periods, fertility, menopause and more. As part of her online presence, she regularly works with global tech organisations such as Google, YouTube and Tiktok on their Clinican Creator councils, helping these organisations to bring accurate, accessible medical information to the public.
